Welcome to DFC
What to Expect
I’M VISITING . . .
Visiting new places can take us out of our comfort zone. We hope to make your first visit a great experience by helping you feel as informed as possible before you even get here! Here are some things that might make your visit to Denver First Church a little easier…
What time are the Worship services?
We have two Sunday Worship services:
9:00am - Our music is led by a guitar-driven band, the atmosphere is casual and comfortable--you can even bring your coffee. Lead Pastor Shawn Siegfreid will share a relevant Bible-based message.
10:30am - This service blends music preferences with a variety of praise choruses, hymns, and special music from the Celebration Choir and Orchestra. Our Lead Pastor delivers the same morning message as in the 9:00am service. This service is casual or semi-formal - in all of our services, dress is not what we find important. Come and be comfortable.
*Youth and Children’s programming will be occurring simultaneously during all of our Worship services.
Denver First Church is located at 3800 E Hampden Ave., close to the corner of Colorado Blvd. in Englewood.
Where do I park?
We have a large parking lot and our building has many doors. For our guests and newcomers, we have reserved the front-west parking lot for easy access into both the front entrance and children’s wing. Be sure you’re given a gift certificate from our friendly parking lot greeters for a free beverage and snack at our Coffee Shop. We also have a free gift for you at any of our Connection kiosks!
Where do I start?
Our newly finished atrium located on the northwest side of the campus is where you will find our greeters who can help you with anything related to DFC. The DFC Coffee Shop is currently located in the Diehl Commons. Feel free to stop in there to enjoy a cup of coffee and a breakfast snack. While you are there you can browse the Ministry booths for information on how to get involved at DFC.
What do I do with my kids?
DFC Kidz offers fun and learning activities from birth through sixth grade for all Worship Services. If you would like your child to participate, please plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to the start time to get your child checked in and allow time for you to get to your seat. One of our First Impression volunteers will assist you to the Kidz location downstairs on the lower level. Birth through age 12 have activities on Wednesday night with DFC Kidz beginning at 6:30.
“element” Student Ministries, grades 7-12, meet on Sundays after the 9:00am worship session on the 3rd Floor. On Wednesday, they meet at 7:00pm with ‘hang-out’ time starting at 6:30pm. This gives you an opportunity to get them settled before joining Wednesday Worship at 7:00 pm.

What do I Wear?
You should know that we don’t care how you dress at Denver First Church. Our main goal is for you to feel relaxed and be able to relate and worship God in what feels right to you. So please come just as you are, whether that means wearing a suit and tie, a pair of comfortable jeans, or shorts and a t-shirt.
