Our purpose is to encourage and involve individuals and couples, and to provide activities, classes, and ministry opportunities to strengthen all of us on our spiritual journeys.

Journey usually has two activities per month. One is a “Lunch and Learn,” in the DFC Fellowship Hall on a Thursday from 12 pm-2 pm. After a tasty lunch that varies from month to month, a speaker will share information relevant to the lives and needs of older adults. The second activity is an event or outing of some kind, possibly a theatrical performance, ball game, concert, or special event of interest to seniors. Other Journey activities may be added to these two regular events.
